CMA's History

For the past 16 years, CMA has been dedicated to the sales, service, and support of IBM midrange servers (AS-400 / S/36) and software products as a value added reseller (VAR - known as IBM Solution Provider.)  CMA has been a full service company with expertise in a variety of areas.  Our core competency has been to maximize companies' investments in data processing services and equipment.  We have provided the following services:

The majority of companies seeking an e-commerce solution are running their core business through a third party or home-grown business application package that they implemented over five years ago. These companies have made significant investment in time and money for modification and customization of these early versions of application packages, which typically have a green-screen character-based user interface. There typically is no real business need to upgrade these applications.

Companies are looking for an e-commerce solution that integrates seamlessly with those existing company applications that are actually running the business very effectively. The challenge they face is to find the most effective link between this Internet-based solution and their existing green-screen back-office applications. CMA can provide this link along with the front end graphical web interface for the end users.

CMA develops and markets Internet/Intranet e-commerce application server and application connector software for the marketplace. Our E-business solution, CMA-EBIZ, enables rapid development and deployment of business-to-consumer and business-to-business e-commerce sites for companies running NT, AS/400 or mainframe ERP back-office applications.  

Located in the Northeast Pennsylvania corridor, CMA is situated in the ideal geographic position to service our accounts in the Lehigh Valley, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pocono, Wilkes Barre, and Scranton Areas. Our national accounts are also serviced out of our Bath office located on Route 512 just north of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
