The SkillsUSA Council's mission is to create a world-class workforce by developing partnerships among the business community and our schools.
SkillsUSA Council is a non-profit organization that was created in 1985 to foster active business-education partnerships in order to prepare students for the world of work. The Council serves more than 6,000 career and technical education students in District 11 every year. The area served is Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Upper Bucks counties.
The SkillsUSA Council provides cutting-edge training that prepares students for the rapidly changing skills demanded. The council develops citizenship, leadership, employability, and occupational skills through career-focused education and industry partnerships.
